    These terms govern your use of Guide My Vote (the “Site”), owned, operated, and built by Aloha Websites, LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Site.

    1. What the Site is

    Guide My Vote is a free, nonpartisan tool that helps voters compare candidates and see how their positions match your values. We do not endorse any candidate, party, or ballot measure, and match scores are not recommendations.

    2. Accuracy of information

    Candidate information is gathered from public sources, candidate websites, and campaigns, sometimes with automated tools. It may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Always confirm election dates, ballots, and candidate details with your official election office.

    3. Accounts

    You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information, and don’t create accounts for others without permission. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

    4. Campaign profiles

    Candidates or authorized campaign staff may claim and manage a profile after verification. You confirm you’re authorized and that what you submit is truthful and doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights. We may review, edit, or remove content, and paid campaign features are subject to the plan terms shown at purchase.

    5. Acceptable use

    Don’t misuse the Site: no impersonation, false or misleading content, harassment, scraping or overloading our systems, attempts to break security, or illegal activity.

    6. Content and links

    The Site’s design and original content belong to Aloha Websites, LLC. Candidate photos and statements belong to their owners and are shown with attribution or source links. We aren’t responsible for third-party websites we link to.

    7. Disclaimers

    The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be error-free or always available.

    8. Limitation of liability

    To the fullest extent allowed by law, Aloha Websites, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions you make based on information on the Site. Our total liability won’t exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, or $100, whichever is greater.

    9. Governing law

    These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

    10. Changes

    We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.
